I tried my luck at the O Caritas Car/Moped/Scooter Shooting Technique the other day. Using the nifty fifty I took eight auto focus photos at f1.8 of this blue Amazon, which I then rather unsuccessfully tried to stitch together. Restitched with only four shots, and that turned out OK, although I had to fix the licence plate. Patrick had a look at the photo and told me a bit more of his technique.
I could take that beauty for a spin.
ReplyDeleteI forever will be grateful for the legendary safety for which Volvos are so well known. On the drive back from the appointment at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale at which my late father was evaluated as having dementia, he pulled his Volvo station wagon out to drive across a street, but drove too slowly and was T-boned by a pickup truck just in front of the drivers side door.
ReplyDeleteThe car was a complete loss. My father was unhurt, except for the fact that we put him into an assisted living facility at that time and he never drove again.
That is a beautiful car!

ReplyDeleteI had a 1958 and a 1960 Volvo - the kind that looked like 1948 Fords...neither one was worth a damn...they both overheated! That was not good in Phoenix!

ReplyDeleteHowever, what's the point taking multiple pics at f1,8??? Just take one at f8 and I guess you will have the perfect shot in 1 picture...
