I visited the lakes at Rudan earlier this week. The idea was to shoot a few autumn reflection photos from the lower lake, and I did get a couple of those. But as I walked out on one of the piers this
water snake swam past me and I was lucky to get one shot before it was gone.
Waouhhh vraiment impressionnant, il est immense
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeleteYou even managed to snap it with its tongue flicking out - fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome that you were able to get a shot with his head so sharp! Great capture!
ReplyDeleteLooks similar to our grass snakes...and I like them 'cause they take care of a lot of bothersome little bugs and stuff.
ReplyDeleteYou were quick on the trigger to get this cool shot!
I would not want to run into this snake in the water.
ReplyDeleteDamn quick reflexes there, Steffe. Love the curve vs the straight. So envious ...
ReplyDeletesquaksaI get them in the ponds in my garden, so I am quite used to seeing them - until i got a huge shock one day - I opened up my chicken coop and there was one inside!

ReplyDeleteEeee! I could never swim there after seeing this photo.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot right down to the reflection of the head. So much light and life in this photo. And beautiful composition.
