The Commuter
The commuter station leaving Handen, heading for Stockholm. I took this photo one hour ago near the Elephant Rock at Upper Lake Rudan. The tiny beach to the left is where I met the two tough swimming girls earlier this year.
That sounds impossible Leif. You were travelling on the västra stambanan that goes between Södertälje and Stockholm. The station after Tullinge is Huddinge.
This is Nynäsbanan, a railway line between Nynäshamn and Stockholm. Handen is the seat of Haninge.
Wonderful reflections
ReplyDeletesuperbe reflet avec le train qui passe, bravo
ReplyDeleteI remember taking a train from Tullinge through Handen to Stockholm this past August! It must have been very close to Haninge!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot - nice to see the kind of buildings in the area.
ReplyDeleteI love the echo of the building windows and the train windows . . . the reflections . . .the sense of movement & stillness.

very beautiful harmony of colors. The train and the buildings match one another.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo with train slicing across and windows somehow echoing patterns on the buildings.Love the girls. They will probably live forecver.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely superb, Steffe!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot, Steffe.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful autumnal colors.
ReplyDeleteVery curious that the coloring of the train and the buildings above it are so similar. As well as the lines.
ReplyDeleteAn intersting composition with another perfect reflection.
