The Former Cheerleader
This is Emelie. I noticed her in Handen a few days ago and decided to ask her for a portrait. She is a secondary student at the Fredrika-Bremer school. To earn some money she works extra on weekends at a fast food place. I asked her if she had any fun hobbies. Not any more was her answer. She used to enjoy horse back riding at the Tungelsta riding school, but had given up on that. And she has decided to quit cheerleading, although the other members at Haninge Cheer Elite doesn't know about that yet. I couldn't decide which photo to use so I uploaded two portraits of he beautiful Emilie.
Rah, rah, Emillie!
ReplyDeleteNice work, Steffe...I'm beginning to think you lead a very difficult life. Hah!
She's super cute! What a lovely portrait :-)
ReplyDeleteun très beau visage, j'aime beaucoup la deuxième photo.
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly how I imagine a cheerleader!
ReplyDeleteShe looks like the perfect cheerleader - very peppy and just the right size to toss around. :)
ReplyDeleteNice portraits.
So cute!
ReplyDeleteYou just walk up and ask for a portrait? I think you have friendlier citizens than I do. Or maybe I am a coward :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's a tough job Jacob...
ReplyDeleteThat's right Buck. It has worked 360 times over the last few years, so I must be doing something right. It was difficult at first as I was quite nervous, but the worst thing that can happen is that someone says no, and that happens quite often. In fact just a minute before I met Emelie someone turned me down.
Again, a beautiful model. And a good choice to show both the shots.
ReplyDeleteI used to date a cheerleader. She looked nothing like her.
ReplyDeleteVery good photo, she is a great mix of pretty/cute and has a beautiful smile. Don't blame her for wanting to quit chearleading.
ReplyDeleteI like that you just walk up and ask people for their photo, as long as it isn't dangerous to you. Good way to meet people and have human interaction which I think we all need.
Oh yes so glad I stumbled upon your site..you're featuring people - my favorite subject. And you've got an amazing eye. Looking forward to more.
ReplyDeleteAnother nice portrait of a cutie.
ReplyDeleteWhat sport does she cheer for or is it cheerleading on its own? You should be sponsored by the Svenska Turist people for promoting Haninge.
ReplyDeleteIt's the sport of Cheerleading Peter. Haninge Cheer Elite have won a few titles and have nine different teams. I watched them perform last summer during the annual Haninge Day celebrations.
ReplyDeleteOnce you start shooting a lot of portraits LD, there's no going back!
Are all young Swedish women really slim? What's their secret?
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come visit again tomorrow!
They are all not as slim as Emilie. If there's a secret no one has told me about it!
