Talking to the
fishers at lower lake rudan a couple of days ago I noticed a woman relaxing in the sunshine on one of the piers, so I walked over for a chat. This is
Charlotte. She was listening to some music but didn't mind me interrupting so I sat down next to her and we talked a bit about living in Haninge and a few other things. Charlotte comes from Denmark, but has lived here in Handen for around 15 years. She works in the fashion industry and enjoys reading books about religion and history, at least when she's not sunbathing at the lake.
Bravo, Steffe. Great photo. The poem.
ReplyDeleteI feel relaxed just watching her...
ReplyDeleteFor a country that's cool to cold, there seem to be an awful lot of people in light clothing out in the sun. Isn't that bad for Swedish skin? Is sure is for my Irish-Polish covering.
ReplyDeletehave you published your book yet? you always manage great portraits of life and people
ReplyDeleteAt least now days at the beach or lake people can listen to their own music on their ipods. GOne are the days when people used to put out their portable radios and annoy other nearby groups with differing tastes in music.
ReplyDeletel'abandon total, un tres beau portrait
ReplyDeleteso relaxed - cool!
ReplyDeleteAn unusual portrait even for you, the background is great and the pose original.
ReplyDeleteShe must do a lot of reading in the winter.
ReplyDeleteAnother interesting shot of people going about their day.
ReplyDeleteWish I was there too!
ReplyDeleteAnother great portrait, but it doesn't communicate relaxation to me. Actually seems a bit eery...
