These cool cars are called Mk Indy. They are Lotus 7 replica cars, based on the
locost principle that you should be able to build a car for no more than £250. The Mk Indy is constructed in England by
MK Sports Car. If you would like to build one yourself download this
PDF article with a total description from the Smart sportcars website. I spotted the toys at this years Retrorun meet at Torvalla in Handen.
Cute! I would love to drive one... I like your photos, it's fun to see the world through your eyes :)
ReplyDeleteGreat cars! Love them.
ReplyDeleteha ha...indeed they are toys for boys! Everyone should have one to keep them away from mischief! : )
ReplyDeleteThose guys really look like they are having a grand time.
ReplyDeleteCool! I looked over most of the instructions and they don't look too bad. Good looking car when it's done.
ReplyDeletej'adore, je veux les memes, elles sont superbes
ReplyDeleteAre they just like an IKEA flatpack? I have trouble with those, not sure I am ready for a car.
ReplyDeleteYup, toys indeed. I've never felt any desire for these kind of 'show-off' items. But perhaps I'm too cynical and the owners are motivated by something else - the love of design, perhaps?
ReplyDeleteSådan en bil ville godt nok vække opsigt her på Lolland :-D
ReplyDeleteVery cool!
ReplyDeleteYes - they look so happy - cute!
ReplyDeleteAnd the cars have large bonnets too - I like that :)
