Aiming For The Sky

Armed and Dangerous

Any day with a blue sky is my kind of day. Crossing a pedestrian bridge on such a day I spotted this stencil. Not sure who this is supposed to be, if anyone, but I got a WWII feeling when I looked at it. I think it's made by KLAB, a local street artist that I have noticed here and there this year. The bridge in case you are wondering crosses Gudöbroleden in Handen, a road that now has a bike path that will take you all the way to Stockholm.

Skywatch Friday.

  1. I think this would make me uncomfortable if I had to cross that bridge. If I were a child I'd be afraid that he was a troll.

  2. I think it's an art. At least it's not an ugly doodle that kids write on walls.

  5. This is so cool! Great composition.
Would you mind if I asked you for some information? I looked into the 100 Strangers project and I'm comtemplating doing it. But first I've got to get hooked up to flickr. What are your impressions about the project and flickr? I apologize if I'm imposing upon you. You can always email me if you prefer - btribay@aol.com

  6. I have been at flickr for six years. It has changed a lot since the start. But I still love it. There are thousands of fun groups with different challenges and ideas that you could join, like of course the 100 Strangers Project. UTATA is another one. I'm addicted to Squared Circles and a few other weird groups. And you can of course blog all your photos directly from flickr. Go ahead and join the fun.
