A Concrete Handout
This little art object is made out of concrete. The hand that holds it belongs to the artist Marianne Kopamees who describes herself as an autodidact. I met her on Saturday in her studio at the gallery in Österhaninge. Marianne lives at Stora Lundby in Sorunda. We talked a bit about art and photography. Marianne's father and her uncle were both well known photographers. And how about this. Her closest neighbour in Stora Lundby is a windsurfer who enjoys photography. And if you have followed this blog for a while, you will know that I often try to find a connection between the people I meet. So if you would like to meet Marianne's neighbour, follow this link for a great photo encounter.
That's a great little piece of art.
ReplyDeleteCool. I do remember that previous post too. It's fun running into other photographers when out and about isn't it?

ReplyDeletean object of real beauty. I like the hard worked hand that hold it too!
