The Beret Wearers
Meet Ebbe. He is the little guy with the red cap. Ebbe is ten month old. His dad is called Patrik and he is a stay-at-home-dad for the time being. He is also a slöjdare,(a craftsman) and Patrik sells most of his stuff via the SHR stores. Ebbe's mother Kerstin, is studying to become a teacher. The family of three lives in Linköping. Today they were visiting Ebbe's grandfather, (Kerstin's dad). He is the cool guy with the red pants. His name is Gunnar. He is retired since October of last year, but for fifteen years he was the supervisor at the post museum in Stockholm. He lives at Segersäng in Nynäshamn. They were on their way to enjoy lunch at Paus at the Västerhaninge shopping centre, but when I noticed that they were all wearing berets I stopped them and asked for a portrait.
These are great berets...thumbs up!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking family!
ReplyDeleteGreat family. I just love Gunnar's pants, I want a pair too.
ReplyDeleteThe clothes struck me first too. Is that the fashion in Sweden or are they unique? Once again, nice portrait.
ReplyDeletesuperbes portraits, surtout avec le petit garçon
ReplyDeleteYou really have a good way to get people to relax in front of your camera. Great family shot!
ReplyDeleteLove their berets and you have to admire a man who wears red pants.
ReplyDeleteAren't we all unique?
ReplyDeleteI noticed them because I thought they stood out a bit. That is often how I find people to photograph.
the family that wears berets together, stays together, it seems...perhaps because they have such a wonderful sense of fashion...but someone needs to get the baby a little beret, too.
ReplyDeleteEbbe seems to be going out on his own by not wearing a beret.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful family! I really like those red pants too.
ReplyDeleteJ'aime bien les berets! Morfar does seem cool with his red pants! My wife and I landed by ship in Nynashamn from a trip to Visby several years ago!
ReplyDeleteVery nice family foto - jatte bra gjort, Steffe Meister!
Berets from another era, you can't see this around here... But, who knows, may a new fad is behind the corner!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! They look like people you want to hang around with
ReplyDeleteLooks like a cool family!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteI like the photo too. I don't usually comment...just lurk. But I noticed a spy in the picture. Can you see him?
ReplyDeleteYes, I did notice that person, but not until ! came home! I took a bunch of photos and the person was moving back and forth behind that message board.
ReplyDeleteFeel free to lurk around and comment more Pricilla!
