A Young Family
I met a very young AIK fan in Handen on Saturday. Her name is Nora. Her parents are called Joakim and Linn. They were on their way to the library at the Cultural Centre where they planned to read some books for young Nora. The family comes from Visby on Gotland. For the time being Linn lives here in Handen as she is a student at the Södertörn University. She is a future deaf interpreter. Joakim who lives with Nora on Gotland works as a mail man. I asked them where I should go on my next visit to Gotland, and they suggested two places.Dalhem, and Nabben, (a small fishing village at När).
A nice family portrait! Well done!
ReplyDeleteVery nice portrait of this young couple and their child!
ReplyDeletewonderful family portrait.
ReplyDeleteThey look like a kind, young Swedish family from Gotland! My wife and I visited Visby back in 1996 before having children.
ReplyDeleteI've always waned to go to Gotland. I imagine there is a ferry from Tallin? Or amybe you have to go to Stockholm first . . .
ReplyDeleteA nice looking family. We can only wish them the best.
ReplyDeleteThat Nora has a piercing gaze!
ReplyDeleteThe ferry to Gotland departs from Nynäshamn. More info here.
ReplyDeleteSo after arriving to Stockholm from Tallinn you need to take the commuter train to Nynäshamn. Or fly to Visby from Stockholm Bromma airport with Fly-Gotland
Fabulous shot... you've brought the personalities, I think.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Portrait !!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute kid!
ReplyDeleteSo Leif, what's the lesson here - if you don't visit Visby, you don't have kids?
What a cute family! Nicely done.
