The Olympic Champion

Olympic Gold Medalist

Charlotte Kalla screaming of joy after winning the women's 10K cross-country race at the Vancouver Olympics on Tuesday. The winning time was 24.58,4. Heja Sverige! It was her first Olympic race. Not a bad start! Anna Haag, finished in fourth place, in her Olympic debut. All photos in this mosaic are from Haninge and I shot these during a few weeks last year.

  6. My goodness, this is utterly incredible. What a mosaic and great to hear of her success, but it's your talent that is bowling me over...

  11. The mosaic collage took around five minutes to do. The news photo was taken just as Charlotte crossed the finishing line yesterday. I use a software called Photomosaic. It is no longer on the market. I have a flickr set with 130 similar mosaics.

  13. I must say you had enough of the right kind of photos to make this image pop. Good job on that.

Thanks a bunch for visiting my Brookville Daily Photo and for the comment. Sometimes I don't know what to post each day but it is usually something that I just took a picture of that caught my eye. This post is like that. I was experimenting with shutter speed and aperature to see if I could stop motion and it seemed to work in this photo you saw.

    I always enjoy coming here.
