As you probably know I do enjoy going back to a few of my favourite places for another photo. This is a diptych made of two photos from Lower Lake Rudan in Handen. Taken from the same spot, a rocky area popular with fishers. The
left half of the diptych shows part of a summer photo from August 2008. And to the
right how the lake looked this autumn.
So many difference but the same essential spirit.
ReplyDeletenice comparison. Dont know which i one i prefer.
ReplyDeleteis your pyroman caught yet?
An enjoyable contrast - and you put the photos together so well! One season into another.

belle comparaison entre les deux saisons, j'aime beaucoup l'idee et les couleurs
ReplyDeleteWarm colors, cool colors. I often go back to favorite spots but never thought of putting them side by side. I will have to try it sometine.
ReplyDeleteThat's nice, Steffe. Both of them. But autumn does carry with it the whiff of an approaching winter.
ReplyDeleteI like this Steffe. Neither shot is better than the other, they're both beautiful. It looks like a nice place no matter when you go.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome way to compare! There's a vast difference!

Very nice juxtaposition.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the autumn view. I love those rusty reds.
ReplyDeleteIt's a fun hobby mixing these types of photos together, especially if the weather is forcing me to stay indoors!
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done, both are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteDo you just crop the two photos and line them up or is it done with software?
The first trick is to remember where you stood the first time! Which I am pretty good at. Then it's just to line them up as you say marley. No extra software for that, but I guess you could do it that way for a seamless version, that would be kinda cool.
ReplyDeleteI like your season comparison photos! I just can't decide if I like the Summer or the Autumn better! Hmmm
