The Beautiful Sanna

Sanna

This is Sanna. She was standing at the bus stop next to City Hall in Handen, waiting for the bus home to Västerhaninge. And I knew from the second I noticed her that I wanted to shoot a portrait. Sanna is a student at the nearby Fredrika Bremer school (secondary education) as are quite a few of the people I have photographed lately. I tried asking Sanna about any special interests or hobbies, but all she could come up with was hanging out with her friends. Not sure if that answer had anything to do with the fact that her mother walked up to us as I was taking a few photos :-) Anyway, thanks for posing for a few shots Sanna.

  4. such a beautiful portrait and it makes me laugh out loud that her mother shooed you away. A great Swedish capture. Also, thanks for your comments about the door on my website. I am glad you liked it.

  5. Those portraits remind me of the days, when long ago, we also dressed in different ways that are now part of legend and movies. Nice shot.

  8. Sanna's a cutie for sure. She better teach young kids as high school boys won't be able to concentrate at all!

  9. You seem to be very good at putting the people at ease. They come over very naturally. Sanna here, with her blond hair and fair complexion, seems the classic Scandinavian.

  12. You make your own luck Arnaud :-)

Sanna could well be short for Susanne or Susanna.

Her mother did not shoo me away, but she did ask if Sanna would show up on my blog on the day we meet, and I said that it would probably be a few days, as I do shoot quite a few portraits these days.

Well, Julie I'm closing in on 150 stranger portraits.

    Nice portrait.

  15. I'm surprised her mum didn't chase you off!

Swedes must be more relaxed about photography than Australians. People don't like having their photo taken much here in Tasmania. More is the pity!
