Winter Again
Spring is on hold for a while. All of a sudden it started to snow. Again. So I had to go out and shoot a few winter scenes. Again. This is a photo from Lillgården. It shows a typical Swedish house. It's the home of the artist Christina Hassila.
I have seen some of her art at the Art Promenade in Österhaninge that I have shown you some photos from over the last three years. And for a while she did have a sculpture close to the house that I also have a photo of somewhere at flickr. The red color is called Falu Red. It has an interesting history.
very pretty from my vantage point but I am sure you are tired of snow.
ReplyDeleteI am surprised that the garage is so exposed to the elements.
ReplyDeleteLove your photos by the way.
The green water pump really adds so much to the shot.
ReplyDeleteSpring seems to be teasing you!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, winter is supposed to be over and done with by now.
ReplyDeleteThanks Frances, glad you like some of my work.
Glad you noticed the green pump. I was going to make that the title!
Precisely Lois!
I like that green pump too! Snow looks exotic now! ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnd an accessory in the garage to match the house. I believe it is an artist's residence:)
ReplyDeleteDon't feel bad, we haven't had snow, but are still below freezing at night and for a good portion of the day in Boston.
Hold that spring!
ReplyDeletevery pretty. i have noticed in many of your shots the houses are red. must be a favorite color.
