Two Canadian Geese at Lower Lake Rudan in Handen. Last time I saw them there was some
ninety birds on a field nearby. That was back in October when they were heading south for the winter. The Canadian Goose was first imported to Sweden back in 1930 and can these days be seen all around the country.
Nice photo. We have these kinds of geese here too, and lots of them.
ReplyDeleteHope you get a chance to stop and see me wearing a blonde wig at my brookville blog.
Great navigator geese! Looks so elegant in those colors!
ReplyDeleteIt's a proud and beautiful bird but I'm not particularly enthusiastic about what they leave behind on beaches, in parks, everywhere...
ReplyDeleteBeer bottles and fast food packaging, I know what you mean Per...
ReplyDeletelovely picture!
ReplyDeleteOh pretty, nice reflections, nice colors and clarity!
ReplyDeleteThey are a good looking pair!
ReplyDeleteI used to live on a lack here in Minnesota USA where these geese live in large numbers. They are by far the filthiest creatures around...they will chase you hissing like a demon from the underworld, they're incredibly noisy and after they've been around your yard looks like a herd of dogs have spent the day there if you know what I mean. Disgusting animals but beautiful to look at - if they are anywhere but your yard.
