Arméns musikkår on their way to the Royal Palace in the Old Town. Always fun to see, and hear. I took three of the five photos at Kungsträdgårdsgatan when they walked past The King's Park. And the lat two photos at Strömgatan just before they walked over the bridge leading up to the Palace. It was me and a bunch of tourists.
There is a cinematic vibe to your photography of the parade
ReplyDeleteI find it quite hard to get clean shots of the musicians, and or the marching soldiers. Glad you like them.
DeleteThese are great photos. The band is quite large. That music must have been great to hear.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. Love a good band like that.
ReplyDeleteNice series of photos. The band must have been a pleasure to listen to.
ReplyDeleteI think each of these photos are wonderful, great captures of all and it gives us a feel of being there too. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThose two portraits are supersharp. Very well done Stefan/
ReplyDeleteAs always, your photos make me think as well as enjoy. The leather (?) binding on the sousaphone or whatever it is, with the lacing, and the split in it...A wonderful old instrument that needs some support? Anyway, beautifully done all in all, and the comment about it being cinematic seems apt...
ReplyDeleteI can imagine the sound.
ReplyDeleteAlways fun to see them. Never the same band and or musicians. Later today it will be soldiers from Livgardet and mounted musicians!
