Border Stone

Gränsröse This type of border stone in known as a Gränsröse in Swedish. You will find this one in Brandbergen in Handen. Back in the day it was a boundary stone in Österhaninge socken, which was part of Sotholms Härad. The guy in the background is my friend Jim. And while I shot this Brenizer Method photo of the gränsröse with my 85mm lens, Jim was busy shooting a 3D type of photo. Also known as Hyperlapse.

  1. This is a fine image... the stone and the figure behind.

  2. Excellent composition. I imagine the stonework has been in place for a very long time.

  3. I agree with the previous comment. Normally, I try to get shots without "extraneous" people in it, but in this case, I think it works quiet well. When are you going to start taking hyperlapse shots yourself ?!

  4. I haven't seen any of Jim's hyperlapse photos yet, I will wait until he has figured out how to best do it, and then ask him for some help.
