The girl in the red dress

The girl in the red dress

My camera was working overtime at the car meet on Saturday. There were hundreds of classic cars to shoot. And as you can expect the place was filled with photographers. I had only just arrived when one of them walked up to me and introduced himself. His name was Jimmy and he knew me from flickr, so we started talking, and had a really good time photographing the cars, the girls and the occasional dude. Here is a link to his photos. I mentioned in my first post from the meet that there was a Hottest Greaser Girl competition going on. This was one of the prettier girl I met. I don't know if she won, but she got the attention from many photographers. As I asked her to pose in front of one of the more trashier cars, I could hear the sound of the cameras behind me. At this time I had taken so many photos, and talked to so many people that I forgot to ask her name. So she will forever be The Girl in the Red Dress.

Good choice Steffe. That must have been a great show to go to. It would have been quite a drive for me though.

Great shot, real USA 1950s feel about it and posing against the old banger rather than a 'new' one was a good choice.

I like the photograph and she has an expression on her face and looks as pleased as punch.

She's gorgeous. A Swedish woman, right? and her smile-very simple that captivates my eyes.LOL..I wonder where's the lucky guy. I think she'd be accompanied by a guy wearing a mens tuxedos USA or a white zoot suits with mens neckties. They look great and classy. I can also be that guy..LOL. Great Shot it will be.Well! Congratulations on your excellent and wonderful blog. Can I know the name of that girl.

It's a little late for that I'm afraid MrsLittleJeans. Thanks Buck, I'm sure you will find a few posts to your liking here.Bummer about the missing tattoo Leif, but I have corrected that in my post for today! The guys were either checking out all the cars, or if they are anything like me like me taking photos of the babes! There are meets like this one every weekend somewhere in Sweden.

The woman in this photo is so beautiful she's like my last girlfriend, I remember her because she always prepared me breakfast at morning I think there's no woman like her.
